About Reframe

Celine Moran is an experienced and fully accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist (MIACP). She has many years’ experience working with a broad range of issues including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, eating problems and relationship difficulties.

Celine holds a Diploma in Counselling, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy and a Post Graduate Diploma in Children and Loss. She has also undertaken further training in Trauma and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). As a fully accredited member of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP), Celine practices in accordance with their code of ethics.

Celine also works as a Parenting Specialist, has extensive experience working in a supportive capacity with parents and is a qualified Parenting Coach /facilitator offering tools to support parents and families.

One to one Parent Support

She aim is to help you gain a clearer understanding of your child’s behaviour, and better responses for the parenting challenges you are facing. Her main focus is on the social and emotional needs and wellbeing of children. In the past, Mary has supported parents in working to develop their children’s self-esteem; to develop resilience; to support anxious children; to prepare for educational transitions; supporting positive discipline; supporting children’s friendship issues; and enhancing the parent and child relationship.

I have compiled the list of questions clients commonly ask about counselling and psychotherapy accompanied by answers.
People come to therapy for a variety of reasons which are causing difficulty and distress in their lives. Sometimes people come to deal with long standing issues such as anxiety or depression. Everyone experiences challenging situations in life and therapy can be helpful in providing extra support and the space to gain greater awareness. Therapy can also give you the tools to change patterns and help you take steps to make things better.
The terms counselling and psychotherapy are often used inter-changeably. Counselling is generally for a relatively short term and is usually focused on a specific difficulty or situation. Psychotherapy is a longer term process which allows you to understand the roots of your difficulties and enables you to develop resources to make changes.
Sessions last for one hour. It can be helpful to commit to the same time and day every week.
Generally, sessions take place on a weekly basis.
The amount of sessions will depend on the nature of the issues that have brought you to therapy and what you would like to achieve. I am happy to discuss this at the first session but the decision on how many sessions you need is ultimately yours.
The cost is €60 per one hour session.
